Ryan Tranquilla is a freelance arts consultant
and stay-at-home dad who lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two-year
old daughter, and dog. He is the former director of California Programs
for Poets & Writers, Inc., the country’s largest nonprofit service organization
for writers. Prior to his seven years with P&W, he worked as assistant
director at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. His work has appeared
in the inaugural issue of the Los Angeles Review and in the Allegheny
Review, and is forthcoming in Spillway.”
